MuvEnum Address Bar v3.8.0.0 is now available for download.
Version History:
- Added support for opening links with .lnk in the name.
- Fixed issue with http://shortcut.lnk showing in auto-completion list causing shortcut.lnk to not show.

First, what an awsome little bit of code you’ve assembled with the address bar. I LIVED by the address bar in windows and then my productivity tanked when SP3 came out and took it away…
One question… have you considered implementing UNC path’s for directory access? For example, I access drives on servers from various clients I VPN into, so I don’t have a drive mapped…where I go is: \\Servername\Sharename, or I might go to \\132.15.29.123\C$ . For some reason the address bar treats these physical paths as websites…
Thanks for the compliments. This feature is coming in v5.0.0.0 (nearing beta release this weekend) as I finally was able to figure what was going on (it woudl fail with unc paths that weren’t authenticated) so it should now force the authentication prompt to show and then allow you in (and always allow after without prompt as longs as the authentication still exists). If you’d like to help test, let me know in a response to this comment.
