We removed default support for the higher bit settings and such due to the fact that it requires more cpu usage and most users won't need support for it. If you need support for it, you just need to download the following registry file, merge it with your registry (the settings relate only to the MuvEnum Virtual Cable and you can look at the .reg file before merging to verify), and then disabling and reenabling the MVC to have the new settings take effect. You can download the file by clicking here:
http://www.muvaudio.com/mvcmodified5.reg
To
disable the MuvEnum Virtual Cable:
| 1. |
Click Start, click Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System. |

On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager. Double-click the Sound, video and game controllers listing |
| 3. |
Right-click on the MuvEnum Virtual Cable device and click Disable |
| 4. |
