Well, I just thought I would convert a bunch of tracks I had to see how well muv audio would convert them to flac. The jobs ran overnight fine, but when playing the tracks back, I head "trial" overlayed on top of the music!

It's fine if you want to do something like this to neuter the trial version, but PLEASE tell us this is going to happen so we don't waste a bunch of time doing transcoding when the output will be crap!

Why isn't this documented on the trial info on the website??

ALso, it appears that FLAC tags aren't being written. Is this the case or do I have some problem on my client?

Its on the trial download page under Trial Version Limits.
Trial Version limits:

7 Day Trial

Trial Screen - Will have to be clicked each time recording sessions start

Dedicated Mode requires user interaction when new files are detected

Demo version of Virtual Audio Cable© (imprints a voice saying "trial" on the audio every 5 seconds)

As for the Flac tags, i'm sure Renzska can help you out there!

Thank you for pointing it out to the user. To the guest user, if you downloaded it from a different website please let me know which one so that I can have it updated to accurately show this.

As far as FLAC tags, MuvAudio does not currently support writing them. Only MP3 and WMA tagging is currently supported.
