having trouble with my system crashing after starting recording. here is message:

any suggestions

This could be a number of problems. Possibly, your soundcard is causing issues. First, upgrade your soundcard drivers to the latest version and update to the latest version of DirectX.
I assume this is a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) and is an instability in your system.
