Post subject: Version 2.0.4.2 is crashing my system  Posted: Mon Jul 24, 2006 9:34 am |

I have now run the program, 2.0.4.2, twice to record items and each time on exiting it has crashed my system and forced a reboot. I have NOT set the program to exit and shut off my system.
On reboot my system's active desktop has been disabled.
My system's Event Viewer shows two items that appear around the time of the reboots (I'm not certain if they are from the crash but I think they are) -
Event ID: 1003
Source: System Error
Symbolic Name: ER_KRNLCRASH_LOG
Message: Error code %1, parameter1 %2, parameter2 %3, parameter3 %4, parameter4 %5.
I'm going back to version 1.6 for the time being.

Installed 2025 and ran a test session. When it ended and I pressed the Exit button I had the same reboot result as with 2024. Same error message appeared in the event viewer and same effect on the active desktop.

Are you using a logitech quickcam w/ usb microphone or anything similar?
