I am now running Windows Home Server as my media storage and distribution point (and is working well). My kids have all sorts of music from various sources, which they upload into a WHS shared directory. These may or may not contain tags, album art, etc., and may be of varying file types.
I would like to install MuvAudio2, either as an add-in, or a separate program within WHS. MuvAudio is always running in Watch Mode, watching a shared upload folder, and converting any found music to a standard .MP3 format, with all associated tags and album art. The converted files would then be placed into a master (user read-only) WHS Media Shared 'Music\MP3 Library\' directory.
I believe this would be an ideal case where the family could all contribute music, and then have a very organized library with consistent formats. WHS takes care of file safety, assuring one does not lose their libraries. Any comments? other ideas?
Thank you again for a fine program and your help and support!!
