Here it is folks: The first beta of Version 2 of IE7 Open Last Closed Tab<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In this version, we fixed a few issues and added a few as well:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Fixed the watching for “Alt+X” key combination causing random characters, when typing into IE, to be dropped. (“keyboard mistyping in IE after installed” <\/em>issue listed on ieaddons.com)<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Improved the key event handling of “Alt+X” key combination to be more efficient.<\/li>\n
  3. Added the remembering of up to 25 previously closed tabs.
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Added a toolbar button (fig. 1 & 2) that when clicked, opens a context-menu showing the previous tab titles<\/strong> (newest closed on top, URL shown on hover), the option to open the last closed tab<\/strong>, and the ability to clear the tab history<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you don’t see the button in your toolbar, please do the following:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Right-click next to the Home<\/strong> button (first icon in Fig. 1).<\/li>\n
    2. Left-click on Customize Command Bar<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Left-click on Add or Remove Commands\u2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    4. Scroll through the Available toolbar buttons <\/strong>and click the icon named Open Last Closed Tab (Alt+X)<\/strong>.
      \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. Click on the Add<\/strong>
      \n-><\/strong> button in the middle to show it under the Current toolbar buttons<\/strong>.
      \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
    6. Click on Close<\/strong>.
      \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
    7. You should now see the icon in fig. 2 (above) listed in your toolbar (you may have to click on the “>><\/strong>” arrows to view all icons).

    8. Now, when you click on that icon, you will see the following (except with a list of your previous tabs):
