MuvAudio v2.9.1.0 is now available for download.
Version History:
- Modified the naming of split tracks to contain 4 numbers, “0001” to “9999” instead of 3, to allow for the case where the number of split tracks for a file exceeded 999.
- Modified the split track seconds field to store in the settings as the number rather than the index. Please verify your split track setting in the MuvAudio2 options as this fix may have caused it to be one less than you originally had set.
- Fixed the console displaying the incorrect number of seconds the split track option was set to when the number was greater than 300. Please verify your split track setting in the MuvAudio2 options as this fix may have caused it to be one less than you originally had set.
- Fixed an issue with the console error details displaying the duration as the filename and the filename as the error in certain cases.
- Fixed an issue with the console error details erroring when clicking on the filename cell.
- Fixed an issue with the console error details not storing the albumartist, for various artists, when saving the playlist.
- Fixed an issue with split track files showing a dialog box stating “Error saving taglibtagfile:…” which would stop the recording process until the dialog box had been dismissed and cause the recorded file to not contain tag information.
- Fixed an issue when using the option to “overwrite existing file”, which would show a dialog box stating “Error saving taglibtagfile:…” which would stop the recording process until the dialog box had been dismissed and cause the recorded file to not contain tag information.
- Fixed an issue which caused the numbering scheme for split tracks to add an extra 0 in front of tracks higher than 99 effectively causing them to be played out of order by other audio players.
- Fixed an issue where the auto update feature would check for updates every time you opened the software every 45th day. It now only checks once every 45th day.

MuvAudio v2.9.0.0 is now available for download.
Version History:
- Added support for embedding the Album Art into WMA, FLAC, and MP4 formats in addition to the already supported MP3 format.
- Added support for reading the file metadata and duration for a multitude of files that would normally default to 5 minutes (without them having to be added to your WMP library and having the tag reader plugin installed). This now more accurately reflects the completion time.
- Added support for conversion from AAC files if appropriate WMP plugin is installed.
- Added the setting of the AlbumArtist tag to allow for “Various Artists”.
- Changed the directory naming of the “Artist” selection to use the text of “Various Artists” if the file is part of a compilation (reports as “Various Artists”). This only affects the folder creation, the filename still gets the original artist name. This makes it so all file on a compilation don’t get separate folders in the case where your folder structure uses the “Artist” field.
- Updated the duration of files to round up to the nearest second so it doesn’t underestimate the completion time.
- Switched to using TagLib-Sharp (www.taglib-sharp.com) for the retrieving and setting of file tag information.
- By switching to TagLib-Sharp, the time it takes to add files to the playlist has been decreased.
- Fixed an issue with changing the MP4 plugin that allows conversion from MP4 and equivalent files not being detected.
- Fixed activation screen saying you have entered an invalid activation code when trying to paste your registration name instead of activation code.
- Fixed some miscellaneous issues with the “Add to Playlist” functionality.

Number of Selected Items – Outlook 2007 is a simple plugin that adds a label to the standard toolbar which displays the number of items you currently have selected, similar to Windows Explorer. The main download http://www.muvextoe.com/release/selecteditemsoutlook2007.zip contains the Office 2007 Plugin runtime required to install the plugin. If you already have this installed, you can download the .MSI version here http://www.muvextoe.com/release/selecteditemssetup.msi.
This little gem was created out of our own desire to see the number of selected items in Outlook 2007. We’re “stat” freaks and sometimes like to easily see how many support requests we responded to in a day or the number of sales in a certain time period. We know we could do some search queries in the new (much appreciated) Vista/Office 2007 search, but we usually only think to check these numbers when we’re actually viewing the emails. We’re also used to the Windows Explorer selected objects information shown in the status bar. FYI: This will show number of selected items in any Outlook view; Contacts, Tasks, Emails, etc.
Here’s a quick preview of how it looks (the red rounded rectangle is not shown in the actual program):

It’s free, it’s simple to install, and it does the job nicely. We hope you enjoy it!
