Number of Selected Items - Outlook 2007 is a simple plugin that adds a label to the standard toolbar which displays the number of items you currently have selected, similar to Windows Explorer. The main download http://www.muvextoe.com/release/selecteditemsoutlook2007.zip contains the Office 2007 Plugin runtime required to install the plugin. If you already have this installed, you can download the .MSI version here http://www.muvextoe.com/release/selecteditemssetup.msi.

This little gem was created out of our own desire to see the number of selected items in Outlook 2007. We’re “stat” freaks and sometimes like to easily see how many support requests we responded to in a day or the number of sales in a certain time period. We know we could do some search queries in the new (much appreciated) Vista/Office 2007 search, but we usually only think to check these numbers when we’re actually viewing the emails. We’re also used to the Windows Explorer selected objects information shown in the status bar. FYI: This will show number of selected items in any Outlook view; Contacts, Tasks, Emails, etc.

Here’s a quick preview of how it looks (the red rounded rectangle is not shown in the actual program):

It’s free, it’s simple to install, and it does the job nicely. We hope you enjoy it!

I’ve read a lot of blogs that do the now mundane, “First Post from Word 2007” post as the subject, and I’m not about to follow along with everyone else. I’m going to sneak it here in the middle of the post because it is pretty sweet to post directly from you-know-where. - “First Post from Word 2007″

Firstly, we’ve moved the blog over to WordPress so that we can enable comments and not have to worry about them like with our previous blog engine. We like feedback, good or bad, and hope that people will take advantage, in a good way, of the ability to post comments directly to our blog posts.

Secondly, we’re going to try to post on more topics. Software updates are interesting, but it definitely does not attract readers. The topics will vary and hopefully you’ll find something that varies enough to satisfy your tastes.

Lastly, as I once told a fellow co-worker, there is no “lastly”. (More on this in another post)

MuvEnum© is proud to announce the forthcoming beta test of MuvAudio2© on Windows Vista©! Since the release of Windows Vista©, Beta 1, MuvEnum© has been hard at work on bringing support for MuvAudio2© to Windows Vista©. Now that Windows Vista© has reached RTM and we have reached the completion of our first test version, we are looking for beta testers to help us make sure that our release is the best that it can be.

Anyone running Windows Vista© (any RTM version) that would like to be part of the testing team, please email admin@muvaudio.com with an email address that we can reach you at along with your computer specifications. Once we have enough testers, we will send out an instructional email to begin the beta. The beta version should only last a week or so, as we have thoroughly tested MuvAudio2© during development. We are mainly looking for compatibility issues with MuvAudio2© on Windows Vista© in reference to differently configured machines.

We are excited to begin and we know there are quite a few of you that are as excited to begin using MuvAudio2© on Windows Vista©. We hope to see you there!

Thank you,

The MuvEnum Development Team
