MuvEnum is proud to announce the release of IE7 Open Last Closed Tab v3.2.0.0.

This release of IE Open Last Closed Tab v3.2.0.0, has the following changes:

  • Added a “Find” feature that searches the title and url of all previously closed tabs and only shows those that contain what you searched for, in the “Quick Tab Style View”.
  • Added a messagebox to verify the clearing of tab history from the toolbar button.
  • Added logging capabilities to help troubleshoot issues (disabled by default).
  • Changed the “More Previously Closed Tabs Available…” to be bold, to stand out on the context menu rather than looking like a website name.
  • Decreased tab closing time due to inefficiency with html document size.
  • Removed straggler message boxes (they now are logged, if enabled).

If you run into any issues using the extension, please let us know as we always strive to make all of our programs as bug-free as possible.

i downloaded this program and installed it, but i can’t seem to get it to work. is there any kind of setting on ie7 or anything i need to do before it will work?

  4. John says:

It should automatically work after installation. However, the toolbar button may not show in some rare cases. To show the button, please see http://muvextoe.com/manualolct.php near the middle for instructions on adding the button to the toolbar.

Please let me know if you still have issues getting it working correctly.

    Thanks,

    John

To log what is happening, please do the following:

    1. Click on your start menu.
    2. Click on run.
    3. Copy and paste “%systemdrive%\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\temp\low”.
    4. In this folder, create a .txt file labeled “logolct.txt”.
    5. Restart all instances of Internet Explorer to load the plugin with logging enabled.
    6. Use your browser like normal.
    7. Follow steps 1-3.
    8. In the folder that opens, there should be another folder named “OLCTLog”.
    9. Please email all of those files to contact@muvenum.com.

Once received and time allows, I will look into the logs to determine what is happening.

    hi guys,
first of all: TNX ALOT for this great software – i use it frequently as part of IE7.

my ‘nag’ is that it leaves ton’s of old .png files in %systemdrive%\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\temp\low\OLCTScreen

how ’bout purging the directory when starting – or only having X number of files there?

    TNX,
    andreas f.
