MuvUnder Cover: The Album Art Sleuth v1.5.0.0 is now available for download.

This version adds support for additional album artwork sources which increase the quality and number of album artwork search results.  We’ve also added support for updating your iTunes library, if installed and can be disabled, automatically.  In earlier versions, you would have to load iTunes and manually have it pull the newly embedded artwork from the files.  This was a major pain for all iTunes users which is why we’re glad to announce this is now all done automatically.  We’ve also added the ability to resize artwork to the dimensions and quality that fit your needs, whether it’s a smaller artwork file size to keep your music files smaller or whether it’s to make all your artwork the same dimensions, this is a very useful addition to MuvUnder Cover: The Album Art Sleuth.

We hope you enjoy this new release and all the additional fixes and improvements it brings!

MuvEnum Address Bar v3.5.0.0 is now available for download.

Version History:

  • Added support for showing Favorites, Bookmarks, and History from Firefox 3.x and Google Chrome.
  • Added Support for displaying the History List, Auto-completion List, or Nothing when the global hotkey is pressed.
  • Added support to automatically show the new manual on installation completion so users can see all the features that are supported and to see how to resize the address bar.
  • Added message to Clear History to notify users that it only clears the history for Internet Explorer and the MuvEnum Address Bar.
  • Added “Options – MuvEnum Address Bar” and “Clear History – MuvEnum Address Bar” to the autocompletion list for users to more easily find.
  • Added message when entered text didn’t fit any of the possible choices, to allow the user to say they wanted to search for the term, or just ignore it.  This helps when typing in network paths that don’t exist which used to take you to http://networkpath.
  • Improved the performance of gathering the Favorites, Bookmarks, and History for the selected browsers.
  • Removed the Internet Explorer Favorite folders from the autocomplete list because it already shows the favorites in the folders.
  • Fixed an issue where the autocomplete list would display over-the-top of the history list when trying to navigate the history list using the up and down arrows.
  • Fixed issue where the history bar in Internet Explorer would still show the history when clearing the history using the MuvEnum Address Bar.
  • Fixed an issue where pressing one of the “Ctrl+Enter”, “Shift+Enter”, or “Ctrl+Shift+Enter” key combinations when www. or .net, .com, or .org were already being displayed, would still add the prefix and suffix and try to open the page.  An example would be www.google, and “Ctrl+Enter”, would become www.www.google.com.

MuvEnum Address Bar v3.1.0.0 is now available for download.

Version History:

  • Added real-time updates of Favorites and Desktop Items in the auto-completion list.
  • Added System Items to the auto-completion list along with their modified names, if they’ve been changed by the user.
  • Modified the final loading of a keyword to search on the keyword if it doesn’t contain a period and to navigate to a webpage if it contains a “period”.  This modifies the original address bar behavior but saves time compared to the useless navigation to http://keyword/ which will never exist.
  • Modified auto-completion list to show all Favorites in all Favorite folders.  In v3.0.0.0 it would only show the favorites in the root of the favorites folder.
  • Modified auto-completion list to not show folder paths from Favorites as it now shows all of the Favorites.
  • Fixed an issue where certain system folders would open when hitting “Ctrl+Enter”, “Shift+Enter”, or “Ctrl+Shift+Enter” to navigate to a website if the keyword matched a system folder.  It now navigates to the webpage with the added url prefix and suffix.
  • Fixed an issue where Explorer may crash when entering certain invalid characters.
  • Fixed an issue with environment variables immediately followed by folder or file paths opening a browser to search for the terms instead of navigating to the expanded environment variable path.
